NATURAL WOODEN BUDDHA FACE PLAQUE

This beautiful hand-carved wall hanging is made from Albesia wood by one of our supplier's Fair Trade partners in Bali.

Albesia is one of the fastest growing trees in the world and therefore is a perfect sustainable material - in some countries, it is even considered an invasive species, and, having an incentive to cut back the trees, is great for sustaining the local ecosystem.

Very light and easy to hang with the attached hanging loop. Wall fixing not included.

The aesthetic approach of blending colour with gold lacquer is typical of Balinese art.
